My "V2E" (vinyl to electronic) project continues. More semi-crappy 80's metal has been recorded, Sentinel Beast, Sacrilege and an awful Swedish band called Silver Mountain (who I only recorded out of a sense of completeness). Sentinel Beast does a fairly decent cover of Iron Maiden's "Phantom of the Opera", which is worth listening to.
I also came across a bootlegged box set of live Metallica. There are three discs, all recorded during Metallica's Damaged Justice '89 tour for the "... And Justice For All" album. It's all done up in a sturdy box with pretty decent sound quality, and even has their performance of One at the Grammy's in '89. It looks like it is part of only 1500 that were pressed! Maybe it's worth something to a collector?
I also recorded some Scorpions and was surprised to find that it had been so long since I heard the Blackout album that it sounded fresh and good again.
To make this semi-art related, I really need to get out and take some pictures!

That's it for now...
Many thanks for the
